Maidenhair Fern 

The Maidenhair fern is a beautiful addition to any shaded garden. The graceful green foliage grows best in moist well-drained areas. They are great for landscaping around homes, native gardens and also great plants for containers. Its genus name Adiantum translates to “non-wetting” and is referring to the fronds’ ability to shed rainwater without becoming wet whatsoever. This plant is sometimes used for aromatic oil in hair shampoos thus the name "maidenhair." The perfect addition to the shady or partially shady spot in the garden, Maidenhair fern is frilly and delicate.
