I recently ordered several Marginal Wood Ferns from Native Wildflowers Nursery. My order arrived promptly and well packed. My ferns appear healthy, and many are beginning to send up small shoots. I am happy with both the service and the product.

    Healthy bare roots

May 05, 2024 Reviewer: Amy Zimmerman

I'm trying to create a woodland garden in the back of my property, so I was thrilled to find native ferns for my area that my local nurseries do not carry. I ordered the marginal wood fern, ostrich, fiddlehead, and cinnamon ferns. All the ferns had healthy root stock with some green shoots making their appearance which helped me to figure out which end was up. As always with bare root stock I am a little disappointed when opening the box. I want to see the plant as pictured in the catalog but I have total confidence the plants I received will become those lush looking plants in no time. I will definitely keep you in mind as my woodland garden grows.
